Procedura wykonania:

Heat and maintain the water @ 75ºC while adding the ingredients listed in Part A in the order stated. Continue mixing while cooling. Premix the MERQUAT S in the Hamposyl L-30 and add as Part B at 50ºC. Add the Peptein 2000 and continue mixing. Add the Fragrance, Preservative and Color @ 40ºC.

This clear viscous shampoo demonstrates the excellent compatibility of MERQUAT® S with anionic surfactants and hydrolyzed protein. MERQUAT S works in conjunction with the protein to produce lasting conditioning and body without build-up. This shampoo helps to maintain that natural clean and healthy look longer.

Protein Shampoo with Extra-Body, Formula SH3202, was evaluated against a leading commercial extra-body shampoo in a curl retention study to demonstrate its extra-body properties.

RESULTS
The above graph shows Protein Shampoo with Extra-Body Formula SH3202 has superior curl retention (body) compared to the leading commercial extra-body shampoo. Statistical analysis using the paired test verifies that the differences observed are significant above the 95% significance level.

 

TEST RESULTS
Moist, 2 gram, virgin, brown hair swatches were treated with the test formulations, combed, wound onto curlers and dried for 2 hours at 50ºC. The hair swatches were unwound into a helical configuration, suspended from a rack in a humidity chamber maintained at 82% RH and 25ºC. Lines were inscribed on a white background corresponding to the lower tip of each curl initially and at 15 minute intervals. The present curl retention is calculated from the following equation.
